A landmark building, situated beside the IFSC and Amiens Stret Station.
Renaissance Engineering started with the existing building layout and calculated both the heat gain & loss and the ventillation to allow us to design the energy efficient space heating and ventilation.
Given the shape of the building, natural light was available and Renaissance Engineering made use of this, enhanced by efficient LED lighting.
This is a modern office environment and the Data Centre, which manages the IT, Comm.s and Building Services controllers, is kept at a constant temperature to ensure that the serviers and emails remain operational at all time. Additionally, we have designed moisture sensors, under the Raised Access Floor to ensure that the Facilities Manager is alerted to any water ingress.
Renaissance Engineering, also designed the door access and intruder system to allow for enhanced security from day one.
